Meet the 21 year old entrepreneur who teaches millennials all about money management!
In April 2019, when I took my first wealth management session in IIT Mandi, I was warned by the faculty, that there are a few smart students who would “test” your knowledge in front of the whole class.
As I entered the classroom, for my first session – I was a bit anxious.
I was trying to scan the class and figure out who these students might be.
It did not take long.
Hardeep walked up to me and introduced himself as a stock market investor.
He was humble, eager to learn, very helpful and proactive all through the course.
The story Hardeep Malik, the 21-yr old MD of Omnibulls, is an inspiration for youngsters who want to pursue their dreams.
Starting from a Rs 1.4 lac loan from his father, in four years, Hardeep has managed to build a robust enterprise that provides investment advice to hundreds of millennials.
In Hardeep’s own words, it was his Chemistry teacher who introduced him to the world of finance and investment. Back in the 11th grade, he developed a keen interest in the stock market. He was curious about how to make and multiply wealth from a young age.
Fast forward – in the past four years, Hardeep has interacted with and trained 10,000+ students from various top institutes – some of the notable venues being IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and BITS Dubai.
Other than that, he has also conducted online sessions and workshops on financial literacy, investment advice and personal finance. These investment workshops cater to employees from IT firms and other corporate houses. The purpose of these workshops is to educate the young minds about smart options to invest.
After the success of the Omni Fund 1.0 (something akin to a PMS), Hardeep is now all set to launch The Omni Fund 2.0 from October 2020. The Omni Fund 2.0 is a bigger, better version of the former! Anyone interested to know more can reach out to wealth@omnibulls.com.
In the choice between career, financial stability and passion, only a few have the courage to walk down “the road not taken”. Hardeep’s success story is a great example of how we can get the best of both worlds, with a little bit of luck, tons of intelligence and lots of smart work and perseverance.
I’m sure the future holds great potential for Hardeep and his company Omnibulls and I wish him luck for all his endeavours.
