Buffettology by Mary Buffett

This book is a must read for anyone trying to shortlist companies and then value companies with a view to invest in the stocks of these companies. I was fortunate to have come across this book very early in my investing career and it taught me step by step how to find companies and then calculate the right price of entry. The book also is written for a novice and so you do not need to know much about P&L statements and Balance sheet before you start this book. One negative is that it has US examples – but that is not a big negativee. I started using the methods described here in 2002 and it still forms the basis of my stock valuations 15 years later.
